In this video, I show off my favorite Christmas gift EVER...a cookbook written by my mom! She made these for all of the family and included some of our favorite family recipes in her own handwriting. This is amazing! So, for this video, I make black eyed peas per her recipe. I also talk about some of the traditions behind the dishes served on New Years Day. I also throw in a couple of funny stories...especially about my grandmother! Thanks so much for watching!
